01Why we do it
Bagster pickup outside the city
Out past the city, people buy a Bagster bag, fill it, and then find out the pickup will not come out to them. Our owner has been getting those calls. Micro Man picks up full Bagsters within about 30 miles of Charlestown, Indiana, and takes them away.
Before, a full bag meant bringing out an excavator or a skid steer to load it, and that cost the customer more money. Our owner built our new roll-off truck with a crane to change that: run over, grab the bag, set it in a dumpster and go, to save you money and him time. What the Bagster rules say
Waste Management, which sells the bag, says on its Bagster page that a bag holds up to 3,300 lb of debris but only one cubic yard of heavy material, and that it has to sit clear of wires, trees and structures for its own pickup.
The same page lists what can’t go in, including paint, oil, batteries, appliances, electronics, tires and chemicals. Your town page lists where those can go.
What to send us
Text the address and a photo of where the bag sits, showing anything overhead, like wires or branches. Tell us what you loaded, especially anything heavy, because our crane’s single-item limit is 4,000 lbs.
Have not bought a bag yet? Text us the job first. A 15 or 20 yard dumpster rental comes with 2 weeks included at no extra cost and is set where you point, and we will tell you which makes more sense.
