01What we do

Cleanup after a tree comes down

When a tree falls in a storm or comes down on its own, Micro Man cleans it up within about 30 miles of Charlestown, Indiana. We pick up the trunk, the limbs and the brush, load it up and haul it away.

We do not cut down standing trees. That is a tree service’s job, and our owner would rather point you to one than take work he is not best suited for.

First, make sure it is safe

If the tree touched a power line, stay away from it and call your electric company before anything else; a line on the ground can still be live.

Once the line is clear and you have your photos, text ours: the tree from a few angles, where it landed, and the path from the driveway, to (812) 207-7155. Say whether it is already cut into pieces or still in one length.

Brush and the landfill rule

Indiana’s landfill rule, 329 IAC 10-9-2, lists vegetative matter among what its trash landfills keep out, so a load of limbs is not the same as a load of junk. Text us before you pile brush into one of our rental dumpsters, so we can plan where that load goes.

Do you cut down trees?

No. We clean up trees that have already fallen; we do not take down standing trees.

For a tree that still needs cutting, ask us who to call.

A tree fell on a power line. Can you help?

Not until the power company has made it safe. Stay away from it and call your electric company first.

Once the line is clear, text us a photo.

Is any fallen tree too big for you?

Some can be. Text photos with something in them for size, and we will tell you up front whether it is a fit.

If someone else can do it better, we will point you to them.

How much does fallen tree cleanup cost?

Each cleanup is quoted by phone or text before we come, and photos help, because the size of the tree, where it landed and how we reach it change the job. Text photos and the address to (812) 207-7155.

Say whether it is already cut up or still in one piece.
